Description

DECEMBER 15, 1955 - Johnny Cash's second released SUN recording "SO DOGGONE LONESOME" (B side "Folsom Prison Blues")  - The paper sleeve is original with the record 
There are no spindle marks on the label, I don't see any signs of the record being played or on a turntable. I did NOT play this record - It was gently cleaned with a dampened soft cloth (mild cleaner/disinfectant)  We only sell new/unplayed records - This copy was among dozens of other new 78's in a case; we purchased dozens of cases, new 78's from a closed up record shop back in the 70's (in NYC) The record shop only sold new records, and we bought out the entire inventory. Because of these facts, I well know it's an unplayed and never been retailed copy. Reasonably priced for a NEW condition/unplayed copy. Finding a new copy is near impossible.
The record is beautiful; tight and clean. The labels are bright and clean. A few light scuffs which is normal. There is a faint line on the b side which is a light scuff. I've included several images. Please ask if you have any questions or comments. The record in the scans are the actual record that will be shipped - I guarantee the item is as described.
I pack with great care. The record will be first have a protective layer of bubble wrap, then mounted on a 1" thick rigid foam board (both sides) placed inside a heavy duty carton and surrounded by foam peanuts - Shipped flat rate mainland USA (USPS Priority Mail) and insured to it's full sale value.
