Description
This is Johnny Cash's first cut for Sun records in 1955, and it is on a 78 disc, when the industry was just beginning to change over from Victrola days to 45s. I got this in a box of old Victrola records for my mechanical machine, and was surprised to see this. I haven't played it, as the heavy old tone arm would damage this record. It appears in pretty good shape: no cracks, chips, or breaks, and a nice looking label which does show where the needle went around on it. I can see some scratches on both sides; nothing deep, but definitely it was played.
I am not an expert on records! however, reviewing how to rate: I give this a VG to VG+ by eye. It is missing the original sleeve and will come in another.
