Description

I am selling off my personal collection of original UK first pressing vinyl albums to supplement a house move. It's sad to see them go but the money will come in useful. I have adopted the Record Collector magazine’s Grading Guide to describe the condition and I have also play-checked each album, so you can be confident about buying. The pictures are also of the actual album you are bidding on.

Johnny Cash "At Folsom Prison"

An Original 1968 UK 1st Pressing Vinyl LP on the CBS record label.

VERY GOOD Condition (see description and notes below)

Description and Track List
Johnny Cash had been breaking new ground for a decade when on 13th January 1968 he recorded a concert at California’s Folsom State Prison and suddenly made the world at large take notice. The interaction of a volatile prison population starved for entertainment and a brilliant on-form Johnny Cash was electrifying. His sombre machismo finally found a home. The songs, which included every prison song Cash knew galvanised the crowd. Pure atmospheric gold, this album went triple Platinum and once you’ve listened to it, you’ll appreciate why.

Condition (using Record Collector Magazine grading)
I have tried to provide good quality large pictures of the album and sleeves. Please take the time to click through them and satisfy yourself of the quality of this LP. The pictures should speak for themselves.
Vinyl = VERY GOOD: The record is nearly 40 years old and there are a few light surface scratches and occasional click consistent with age, but it’s a good quality pressing and there is no discernable lessening in play quality.
Cover = VERY GOOD: The cover sleeve and integral colour booklet is in very good condition, just normal wear and tear on the cover, without any major defects.

Note
The record will be very well packaged and sent Royal Mail Small Parcel, which is the cheapest option.

I do combine postage too, so please check out my other records. Over the next month or two I will be selling several hundred albums including others by the same artist.

Postage up to 2kg in weight is just £3.11 (circa 8 albums), then from 2-5kg in weight is £6.85 tracked (circa 20 albums). I am also happy to wait for payment to allow you to bid on multiple items. Just send me a message to let me know.

If you do buy more than one album don’t pay until I send you an eBay invoice with the adjusted postage.

Overseas bidders welcome.

Any other questions? Please ask.

Happy bidding and good luck!
