Description

Johnny Cash "I've Got a Thing About Trains" 3-10" 45 rpm Acetates. From Febraury to September 1969 Johnny Cash recorded "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash". Along with producer Bob Johnson (Bob Dylan's producer on many of his greatest albums). They recorded some of Johnny's Best work. The record was released in 1970 to critcal praise and commerical success reaching number one on the country chart. The lp featured the song "I've Got a Thing ABout Trains". Theses acetates are taken from these sessions. The records are labeled #2 of #3, #3 of #3 and Cut #3 which is noted as best. All three are diffrent. It sounds like #2 of #3 is a take of the song (maybe the second try?). #3 of #3 and #3 are different mixes of the same take. The records are in Mint- condition. Strangely enough the record is long out of print and has not been released on cd.
