Description

Tear It Up / You're Undecided - Johnny Burnette and the Rok'n'Roll Trio original 78, 1956. Vogue Coral Q.72177.

This is a rare 78rpm copy of Tear It Up / You're Undecided by Johnny Burnette and the Rock'n'Roll Trio. It was released in the UK in 1956 on the Vogue Coral label (Q.72177). The label on the A-side is in good condition with just slight wear in the groove near the spindle-hole. The B-side has that same minor wear and also a small graze to the very left-hand edge. (See pictures below). The record itself is in VG condition. In my experience, so long as a 78 has no chips and is not cracked there are only three grades to work with. Either it is pretty much as good as new (EX). Or it is wrecked with loads of scratches and a dull surface. (F / G). Or, it is somewhere in the middle like this one. This is a middle-of the road VG. It is still quite shiny and while it does have some scratches it certainly isn't wrecked and it plays well. I don't know what it will sound like on an electric record player as I only have a wind-up gramophone to play 78s but I can tell you that it sounds really good. (The grooves on 78 records are so deep that light scratches don't seem to affect them very much).

The record will be well-wrapped / packed. I have sent many 78s through the mail over the last few years without a single accident.

Proof of posting is always obtained from the post office. Insurance costs extra and is optional.
