Memorial Album for Johnny Ace Duke DLP 71.  Original deep groove mono pressing from 1956 with yellow and  and purple labels, no playing card on cover.

Condition - Grading is Visual Under Bright Light

The cover is a solid VG+. The front cover graphics are beautiful, very vivid and striking. The corners show some wear, the right corners are dinged and the lower left corner has a bit of paper loss.  Seams are nice with no splits. The printing on the spine is sharp and clear. The back cover slick has some surface wear, light rubbing in the middle and some age toning. A very pretty cover despite the flaws, especially if orange is your favorite cover.

LP is a solid very glossy VG+ on side one and a nice very glossy VG+ on side two with some hairlines on both sides visible under bright light.  Hairlines are mostly on the trail-off wax on side two. Nothing feelable or serious on either side. Labels are beautiful with some faint marks on side 2 visible under angled light, side one is clean. A solid example of this LP, definitely above average.

Grading

Grading is SS (still sealed), NM, VG+, VG. The myriad of grading systems on Ebay is a good indicator of the subjective nature of grading. In my opinion NM is close to perfect with one or two very minor flaws, VG+ is above average and collectable and VG is average used condition but probably the best choice for playing. I'm a collector and try to describe LPs as accurately as possible, the way I would want them described to me. The pictures should at least give a good indication of the condition of the covers and labels. Please see my seller feedback for comments on my grading. If you don't agree with how I'm calling a record that is your privilege but with all respect please don't bid.

Packaging

LP will be shipped outside of jacket in record bag and boxed for protection using an LP shipping box with cardboard stiffeners.

Terms and Payment

Low starting price and no reserve. Five day auction. Paypal only. Payment must be made within 48 hours of auction close or seven days for other forms of payment unless other arrangements are made before end of auction.

I don't profit from shipping. If an overage occurs I will refund the difference.

US

$3.77 for Media mail with delivery confirmation. Media mail can take 2-3 weeks. Priority mail is 7.00 with free delivery confirmation in US. Winning auctions may be combined to save postage cost. Cost will be calculated at invoice time. 

International

Shipping methods are  First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked. Packages over four pounds must ship Priority. Please see shipping calculator for cost.

Refund Policy 

I stand behind what I sell, LP may be returned in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs if I am notified within three days of receipt of LP.  No rebates if you keep the LP. I don't end auctions early, there is no Buy It Now price, emails asking for a BIK price will be ignored. Good luck!
