Description

Up for sale is a rare, collector-grade promotional copy of Blue Matter by jazz guitarist John Scofield, released on the Gramavision label in 1987. This specific copy features a distinct gold promotional stamp on the upper left back cover reading "Loaned for Promotional Use Only..." and is signed on the back cover in bold black marker, "thanks John Scofield".

Vinyl Condition: [Insert Grade, e.g., VG+ to EX] - Highly reflective vinyl. White promotional labels are clean with "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" printed directly on both Side One and Side Two. Matrix etchings in the deadwax include "18-8702-1-A".

Sleeve Condition: [Insert Grade, e.g., VG] - The jacket features vibrant front cover art with minor edge and corner wear. The back cover features the artist's autograph and a gold promo stamp. Includes the original white inner paper sleeve.

Label/Pressing Details: Gramavision Records, Catalog # 18-8702-1, 1987 Stereo Promo Pressing. Distributed by Polygram, Inc.
