This listing:
John Mayall Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton
Decca Mono 1st press, 1st issue red labels.
While there were a number of variants of the red label Mono pressing, this is the first.
Unlike the later variants, this copy has the date (1966) on the left of the label - later issues have it at the bottom.
From Discogs:
This is the first UK mono pressing from 1966. It has red/silver labels with the N.C.B. / B.I.E.M. credits vertically situated in a box with the year above them and K/T tax code above the catalogue number. It comes in a laminated flipback cover.
Sleeve: near to Excellent.
Inner: A later Decca sleeve in Excellent condition.
Vinyl near Excellent visually - some light marks and scuffs only, none of which affect playback. Fantastic audio. Plays with no issues and makes a great sound!
Overall a top copy - hard to find in this condition.
