Description
John Mayall Blues from Laurel Canyon, 1968 London, Vinyl LP Excellent.
Blues from Laurel Canyon is a 1968 album by John Mayall, featuring British blues music. It was his first album after the breakup of his band the Bluesbreakers in May 1968, though others claim it was on 14 July 1968. It was also his last album with Decca before moving to Polydor.
This fine blues album also features the guitar talents of pre-Rolling Stones Mick Taylor.
This album is in all around EXCELLENT condition (it would have been graded a near mint, some neurotic person named "Quinlan" must have gotten an old school metallic tape label maker as a gift and felt compelled to put his name (and a "9" right underneath) near to the top right of the front cover (see photo). They also placed a "Quinlan" in the same swell red metal tape over the "London" on Side One.
(Note: It's possible that they could be removed but I did not want to risk damaging the important stuff underneath!)
