Description
Here is a copy of "Changes", a 2 LP set containing speeches by local Arizona political figures recorded at a 1972 Voter Registration Rally in Phoenix, AZ, "In Honor Of John & Yoko". There are snippets of several Beatles songs interspersed throughout, including Lennon's songs from the albums "Let It Be" and "The Beatles" (white album). Also has psych music interludes (don't know who the artists are). There is a ten minute phone interview with comedian George Carlin, which is very political in nature. Has custom picture record labels and insert sleeves, including one with John and Yoko photos. Very well done format by a local Phoenix radio station. This private pressing LP set was released in very limited numbers and never widely distributed. Never documented in any price guide, this is an ultra rare record. Easily one of the rarest Lennon related records. I have several copies that came from a local source. This copy has some cover stains and blemishes. LPs are in unplayed condition but they have marks inherent in the pressing. Check out the pics for details.
