Up for auction is an original white label promo pressing of John Lennon / Yoko Ono 'Sometime In New York City' 2xLP on Apple Records SVBB 3392.
Record info:
The rare white label promo version, the first LP is a strong VG+, close to NM with some minor surface noise. The 2nd record (the live set) is VG+ with noticeable surface scuffs but plays great with minor surface noise. It plays and sounds great!
Cover info:
VG, gatefold, with mostly solid seams. The front cover has a 2" bottom seam split. Both front and back covers of the gatefold have a 1" seam split at jacket opening. Other than that, the cover is very clean. It comes with the original custom inner sleeves (some creasing), as well as the 'Justice For John And Yoko' petition sheet. It also includes the 'Statue Of Liberty' postcard with faux autograph.
Pressing info:
Original white label promo press. Although it doesn't not specifically say promo, this is the promo version with different labels than the stock copies. Two labels have very minor writing on them.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $12 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $20. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
