     Here is the test pressing for John Lennon's 1975 LP "ROCK 'N' Roll" on Apple Records SK 3419.
     As can be seen, it has plain white labels with the following: "Available only to technical and other authorized personnel for the limited purposes of testing and review. NOT TO BE PUBLICLY PERFORMED, REPRODUCED, etc.

     I obtained this test pressing some time back and have had it stored properly ever since then. In testing it today, the vinyl looks Mint and in doing some play testing, it also plays in Mint condition. The sound is awesome!
     I was wondering if someone at Apple actually played this once and OK'd it to be released based on hearing this test pressing! OR, did they play this copy and made some suggestions to change it?
     In addition to the white label test pressing is all of the printed information regarding this Apple release. It is on an 8 1/2" x 11" tech sheet listing all sorts of information about each song with each Master Number, publisher, etc. Someone involved with Apple or EMI had to sign off on the releasing of this album and that person's name is listed here, too!
     At any rate, this Apple test pressing that is now 50 years old! It is part of Apple history, John Lennon history and Beatles history!
