Description

A 1st issue of 'Shaved Fish' on the UK Apple label from whilst it was still charting. Matrix 1/2. 1st issues mention the US catalogue numbers in the deadwax - "SW-1-3421-Z9" in addition to the UK matrix. The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original 1st issue shaped inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. A truly superb rendition of these Lennon standards.
Cover (Ex) Again, this Lp has clearly been looked after very carefully. The cover is nice and shiny front and back - with very little wear at all. Edge wear is minimal and the text on the spine is entirely intact. Overall the cover retains great rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Great. One 1inch bottom edge split.
