Description
John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band Orig 1st issue LP from 1970
Apple PCSO 7124 Original Australian 1st issue on Apple from 1970
Cover NM (This cover is in fantastic condition. It is fully laminated [front and back] as only the first issue was. A rare find. You won't find better.)
Insert VG+ (In great condition [see photos]. This is the super rare lyric insert that only came with the first issue, later issues had a lyric inner sleeve which housed the record.)
Record NM (Great condition. It's super hard finding this LP as an original first issue let alone in this top notch condition. The labels look like they've never been touched [see photos]. It's a heavy pressing of course.)
What can one say about this masterpiece? It's without doubt not only John Lennon's best album but one of rock's best albums of all time. It's just fantastic from beginning to end. John Lennon pours his heart out on this one. This album is nearly beyond words.
This first Australian issue has become extremely rare. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've come across a copy. And I've only come across two in this condition. And we're talking many decades of looking at Beatles related LPs.
Don't miss this great opportunity to own a historical masterpiece as an original.
Please see my other John Lennon LP up for auction "Imagine" from 1971.
