Original 1st US issue of John Lennon’s 2nd studio solo album released in 1971 on Apple Records. It’s incredibly hard to find a copy of this album in a factory sealed condition. Just like the other early 1st pressing copies, this copy contains an incredibly rare 3” x 5” track listing “John Lennon Plastic Ono Band Imagine” hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap at the center top of the back cover. The sticker contains a misprint, reading "Oh Yoke!" instead of "Oh Yoko!". 1st print fully laminated single-type cardboard cover contains the 1st pressing “SW-3379” catalog number indicated on the back cover and spine. The back cover also contains the "Imagine John Lennon" album title and the Apple Records logo at the bottom right corner along with the "Imagine the clouds dripping. Dig a hole in your garden to put them in. Yoko '63" text at the bottom left corner. This issue comes with a custom inner sleeve designed by John Lennon, having the photos and names of the personnel, who participated in the production of the album along with the portraits taken from a photographic composite of members of the Eastern Synod on one side, and the lyrics / credits on another side in the form of outgoing rays. This issue also includes a large 24” x 36” poster of John playing on his white piano and possibly a 4” x 6” postcard of either John straddling a pig, or a different image of a nymph-like photo of Yoko and Lennon.

The factory sealed album is in beautiful Mint Minus condition only having some very light push-in on the bottom right corner. The shrink wrap with original breathe holes is fully intact and doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces.
