Description -  Over the next few weeks/months, I will be putting up for auction many items from my personal collection of Beatles and Beatle-related music and memorabilia that have been lovingly assembled over the past 30 years or so.  The items range from fairly common to extremely rare, and I hope that you will treasure them as much as I have.

This auction is for a very rare white label promotional copy of John Lennon's 1972 "Some Time in New York City" double vinyl lp.  This comes with the original petition, but no lyric/photo inner sleeves.  There are quite a few scuffs and some very light (not deep) scratches on the records, and the gatefold cover definitely shows wear and some spine/seam tears.

As common with early copies of this release, "John and Yoko forever; Peace on earth and good will to all men '72" is etched into the trail-off on one side of one of the records.

• I ship strictly via USPS Priority Mail unless it is an oversized, or very heavy article.  The reasons for this are:  1 - It gets to you faster, 2 - Less time in transit = less chance of breakage, 3 - USPS provides boxes, so unless it is a large item, I don't have to charge any packaging fees.  This has been a personal policy and it has worked out quite well for folks.
