Below I have compiled two video's containing many more images and each side of the vinyl, converted from this auctioned record into mp3 from a Sony PSLX 300 and without any kind of third party software manipulation. As each side plays, there are plenty more images of each segment of the LP record's condition by sight. I have done some research into what is expected from a genuine explanation or description of a record and will use this to ensure there is as much clearness as possible. I shall use a grading system tool according to Ebay's "Vinyl Grading Record Guide" plus what is a clear view of what you are paying for.

Track Listing Side 2:

This is the 1971 UK 12 INCH LP called Imagine on the Apple EMI records catalogue code QPAS 10004. This package is just fabulous as all accompanying contents show minor wear alone, this includes the excellent+ quality of the vinyl.

In summary, the vinyl looks excellent+ with very light lines and very light rubs in places on both sides, the vinyl remains very shiny with no dirtiness or major flaws. The vinyl also sounds Excellent+ with minor crackle in lower volumed parts of the record on both sides with no major or disturbing additions to the sound. Please have a listen if you have time from the links which take you to the video.

The Excellent+ EMI label remains clear with perfect typing and no pen marks or dirt. The centre hole has very small amounts of the faintest spider trails which doesn't spoil the look of the label.

The Excellent to Excellent+ Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold sleeve also shows only minor wear to the panels and spine, namely, extremely minor surface wear around the perimeter, and mild edge wear with no major corner bumps only light fraying at the extreme edges. The Spine is in Excellent+ condition as the typing is near perfect, the catalogue code (QPAS 10004) and title show perfectly clear with the smallest amount of compression along it's course . The Front shows excelent colours with light perimeter wear and light creasing only.

The Poster is Excellent with a little discolouring and creasing, perfect typing, printing and no tears or splits.

The Inner Sleeve Is Excellent+ with a near perfect sharpness, light discolouring only and NO spilt seams.

Any bits of noticable wear are shown in the picture slideshow. I know that I would like my records to get to me safely so i'll make sure they get to you in 1 piece as I will send them pressed in-between cardboard mail boards and then in a strong cardboard envelope.

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays light distortion or crackles in quieter parts but no major deterioration in sound quality relating to skips or jumps, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discolouration, etc.

FAIR:  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR:  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
