Description: 12" vinyl release LP byJohn Lennon- Imagine. Early(1st?) UK press- matrices- Porky YEX865-1U/Pecko YEX866 -1U . In front and back laminated sleeve. Complete with inner sleeve, poster and postcard. Record label and cat number : Apple PAS10004 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1971 Vinyl/Cover condition:VG/VG. Vinyl is very clean with only light brushing/surface lines only. Played most of this today on my Ariston RD-80 Transcription Deck. Plays through with decent sound but some background noise evident during quieter passages and between tracks. Cover is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear and light corner wear and creasing. One patch of darkening near front top right hand of sleeve. 1/2" split to bottom edge of inner. . Very good, fully ledgible spine. Obviously no other writing, rips or sticker tears. Inner has feathering to top edge. Postcard has been stuck up at some point as has cellotape residue marks on corners.. Poster is Ex- no rips,splits, writing , cellotape or blu-tac. Does not appear to have been used as a poster- little tea splash to rear of poster is only fault. . Labels clean. Ive kept vinyl in a seperate inner since i got it. One of 2 copies i had and only selling now due to recent upgrade. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BEATLES/RELATED AND CLASSIC ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. APPLIES ONLY UP TO MAXIMUM OF 6LPS WHEN ILL WEIGH AND GET EXACT COST BEFORE INVOICING. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED.
