Description

Very rare fully complete copy of the classic 1971 John Lennon album Imagine.
Very first press with laminated "pinched" ends sleeve, custom printed inner sleeve, textured poster and postcard.
Side 1 - matrix - YEX 865-1U, "PORKY" etching.
Side 2 - matrix - YEX 866-1U "PECKO" etching.


Visually the vinyl grades VG/EX, just a few light marks visible, minor, and retains a lovely bright sheen, no dulling.
The labels are have minimal visible spindle skate and are very clean, no marks or writing.

On play, both sides play a very comfortable EX, with no discernible noise - just a little very light occasional crackling. No skips, clicks or heavy clunks!!

The sleeve is generally in EX condition, just some light laminate creases and light wear only. The pinched spine is in great order.
A very, very decent sleeve.

The inner sleeve is in VG/EX condition and has some light ageing, a couple of very small light marks and a very small seam split at the bottom, minor - the record is no longer stored in this for obvious reasons!

The textured poster is in EX/NM condition, no tears, stains, blue tac marks or pin holes and NO foxing! Top copy.

The postcard is in pristine unmarked condition.
