Description
This is a rare sealed mint MFSL copy of Jazz LP by John Klemmer, Touch, MFSL 1-006, pressed by Victor Music Company of Japan under License for Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs in 1978. The LP was recorded in half speed and pressed on audiophile quality virgin vinyl. Sealed copies of these are very rare and hard to come by.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The LP is sealed completely and in unplayed mint condition. The cover is in very good condition with corners still fairly sharp although with some corner rub wear due to the movement in loose fitting shrink wrap. The top seam and bottom seams are strong as is the spine with no splits and the product information on the spine clearly readable. The front cover is excellent with vibrant color.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold is returned sealed .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical or unreasonable manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
