With 30-page booklet "Notes to: John Fahey's The Transfiguration of Blind Joe Death"
by Charles Holloway, Esq. This booklet has a graphic of The Gringo Press on the back. Later pressings are without.

This is the first pressing of the official release.Here the labels are printed , not handwritten as they are on the The Riverboat pre-release subscription edition from 1965.
This pressing gives Boston, Mass. as label address. (from Discogs).


Super-rare original release, this copy pressed on translucent PURPLE vinyl!!

Vinyl EX (one visible scratch on side two is not audible) / Sleeve EX (just very minor wear on corners). Booklet a little wrinkled on front.
