John Fahey - The Early Sessions Volume 2  (Takoma C-1001, USA, 1967)

A very rare release that I’ve never seen being offered for sale anywhere before. It was rumored to have been withdrawn or even never released at all but here it is. Proof that it does exist!

Matrix side 1: FAHEY VOL II Side 1 -Recut- SLS  (etched)

Matrix side 1: FAHEY VOL II Side 2 -Recut- SLS  (etched)

Condition of the vinyl (play graded): VG  (vinyl is a bit warped and shows a few superficial hairlines. It also has some tiny “pressing bubbles” in the vinyl. The record plays with some very light surface noise)

Condition of the cover: VG  (some wear and partially split bottom seam)

Even though the record is a bit warped I have had no problems playing it. I have played it on my Thorens TD-124 and on my Technics 1200’s and it played all the way through on both turntables without any problems. The warp doesn’t cause the needle to skip or jump anywhere.

Please note that the recording quality of this record isn’t of the highest standard to begin with and neither was the vinyl that was used to press this record.
