Description
John David Souther - self titled. 1972 Asylum Records SD 5055. 1st pressing. Made in the USA. Vinyl is in VG condition. Cover is in VG condition. Some light lines. There is tearing on the spine and invisible tape on the spine. Includes original black inner sleeve which has invisible tape on all three edges.
The mid bottom front cover is signed by J.D. Souther in blue pen. Signature is signed and personalized in the following manner... "To Jenny - Take It Easy - Love, J.D. Souther."
Signature is bold and easy to read. This is an early example of his signature, which over the years has morphed into just an illegible scribble. This is a rare early example of his autograph.
Signature Authentication Information: We sent this J.D. Souther signed LP cover for authentication to SGC (Sportscard Guaranty Company, LLC), the well respected card and signature authentication company. They returned the signed cover as "inconclusive." Meaning they could not verify nor deny the authenticity of this signature. We believe because J.D. Souther's signature is so radically different today than it was decades ago it caused a problem with verification. There are not many decades-old J.D. Souther signatures to compare it to. We obtained this signed LP cover from the same very trusted source that we purchased MANY other authentic signed LP covers that have been purchased by many other very happy buyers.
We are happy to combine shipping with other LPs for no additional shipping cost in the USA. We can ship up to five more LPs in the same box for no additional shipping cost.
