Description

This is a very nice copy of ORG’s 45 RPM 2-LP release (ORG 017) of the John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman’s album with Johnny Hartman singing with backing by John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, & Elvin Jones.  This is a reissue of the original impluse! LP A-40 and is in stereo.  It is a limited numbered release No. 00580.  When I first bought this set new, the records were cleaned with Audio Intelligent cleaning fluids on a VPI record cleaner, followed with a second cleaning on an Audio Desk ultra sonic record cleaner, and treated with LAST record preservative.  More recently the recods were recleaned with the latest version of the Audio Desk ultra sonic record cleaner.  It has also been demagnetized with a Furutech DeMag. The record was recently play graded using a Benz Micro LPS cartridge on a VPI Classic 4 turntable.  I previously only played the record a few times on a similar set-up with either a Lyra Parnassus or Lyra Kleos cartridge.

There are no scuffs or scratches. The records play very quietly with only 3 light ticks over sideA; 8 light ticks over side B; 9 light ticks over side C; and 11 light ticks over side D.

The heavy, glossy, gatefold jacket is in mint condition with no seam splits, bends, or tears. The records are in excellent condition with no noticed flaws.

Multiple records can be combined in an order to save shipping costs.
