Description

This is Prestige Records PR 7378, John Coltrane The Last Trane, a blue trident label, original mono issue of this excellent record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG condition showing a 2" needle mark on side 2 causing some light background clicks during JC and PC's solos at the end of side 2. There are one or two other needle marks but they are not audible. This is a fine listening experience with no skips or distortion of the music. The laminated cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent.  The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent initial "play" grade copy of this wonderful record.
