Description

About This Record.  This is an auction for an original US mono copy of John Coltrane's "Soultrane" LP from 1958.  Essential one!  The original thick Vinyl weighs 179 grams!

 

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  With two kids in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year!  99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback!  I don't sell Craaap; only stuff that I deem worthy so please inspect closely and often.  Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine.  I NEVER sell common LPs, so I encourage you to look at whatever vinyl I sell, because it must be special.  Please, READ my feedback.

Vinyl Condition.  The vinyl weighs 179 grams!  It plays EX to NM.  Looks EX+ on Side 1 with some minor marks that do not sound.  Looks VG+ on Side 2 because of one superficial scuff that affects play only for 2-3 revolutions (soft click), and a few stylus marks.  Very quiet between tracks.  Original Washington Avenue and Bergenfield address on labels and back cover.  RVG is stamped in matrix, as you can see in the picture I attached of the Side 2 label.

 

Label Condition.  EX+.  Minor spindle marks.  Never was any labels, price stickers or writing!

 

Cover Condition.  The cover is in VG to VG+ condition.  Bottom seam has one inch tear lower left, middle, and lower right.  Top seam has one inch tear top left and top right.  Spine is weakening and beginning to split, with top left spine split about two inches.  No writing on cover.  Corner wear.  Still enjoyable.
