I am downsizing my Jazz collection and will be selling a number of my LP's over the next couple of weeks. Up for auction is a stereo repress, Atlantic Recoding corporation, John Coltrane, "My Favorite Things", SD-1361 produced in 1975. Atlantic released a number of its John Coltrane albums in 1975, all remastered by George Piros. This is a repress done 14 years after the original stereo version was produced with mastering and lacquers cut by the great George Piros as shown by his initials being in the dead wax. My main goal was to collect Near Mint versions of original vinyl for my jazz collection, I wanted the same for the outer and inner sleeves as well, but the main priority was to to get the best quality vinyl as possible for the best audio quality, and also to get the best versions. As far as condition goes, the outer sleeve is in Excellent+ condition,it just has a small bump at the top of the spine and a very light amount of ghosting of the disc itself on the white back cover. The original inner sleeve is Near Mint, no tears, rips, stains, or slits at the edges, however it does have the typical tanning due to the high acid paper. The vinyl itself is in beautiful Near Mint condition, and the labels are Near Mint. The records play with near mint quality as well, no sonic issues of any kind. The dead wax shows the inscriptions consistent with what is called out by Discogs for the 1975 Presswell pressing, with ST-A-60303 C AT/GP PR on side 1 and ST-A-60304 C AT/GP PR on side 2 in the deadwax. This is a really nice sounding record. I will only sell to the continental United States, no international shipping. I will send via US Postal Service Media Mail.
