Description

Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the John Coltrane ‘Giant Steps’ LP on Atlantic Records 1311 from 1960. Other musicians include Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers, Art Taylor, Wynton Kelly, and Jimmy Cobb.

Record info:

Solid VG+ vinyl with some minor scuffs and some surface noise. It's plays great!

Cover info:

VG+ with minor general wear. The seams are solid except for a 2" seam split along bottom middle. The back cover has a artwork fold at bottom left. Overall the cover is in incredible condition. It also comes with the original Atlantic inner sleeve (moderate creasing).

Label / Pressing info:

Original 'bullseye' style label, deep groove pressing.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
