John Coltrane Blue Train (Blue Note 1577). Classic Records 200g audiophile pressing Beautiful edition of the seminal Coltrane classic, remastered by engineer Bernie Grundman and pressed on high quality 200g vinyl. Without question among the top 10 jazz records of all-time, reissued here with stunning fidelity.
Record grade: EX Extra clean copy, almost mint. Deep groove 47 W. 63rd reproduction labels.
Cover notes: Excellent condition! This series produced high quality album jackets, thick and sturdy, laminated and glossy. This is what the original must've felt like off the shelf.
Details: Coltrane's third session as a leader, recorded on 15 September 1957 for Blue Note, although he was still under contract of Prestige (that is why the rear jacket has: "John Coltrane performs by courtesy of Prestige Records"). The sextet includes Lee Morgan (tp), Curtis Fuller (tb), Kenny Drew (p), Paul Chambers (3) (b) and "Philly" Joe Jones (d).

Shipping: All records will be shipped in a sturdy, reinforced cardboard box mailer, with record and cover protected in plastic sleeve. Standard shipping will be via USPS media mail, at cost of $4.00. Priority mail also available, at cost of $10.00. Save on combined shipping when additional records are purchased. For additional records, $1.00 will be added to initial shipping cost.
