Rare US 1963 Mono 1st Pressing on the Impulse Label, A-40 A-40-A-1 / A-40-B-1 VAN GELDER Etchings Visually under very bright light, the vinyl has numerous light scuffs, marks, hairlines and traces (Visually VG-). The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine, and plays bright bold and clear, with great rich tone, a great record. There is some fairly regular light background surface noise/ surface crackle (a bit worse to side 2), and static ticks and clicks here and there, a couple of passages of repeating ticks to side 2. Doesn’t detract too much from an enjoyable audio experience. Likely to benefit from further cleaning. Overall Audio: Side 1 - VG+ Side 2 – VG
The labels are clean, sone light spindle traces. EX-
The Laminate Gatefold Sleeve has some minor rubbing wear, minor marks, a nick to the spine, a little laminate lift to the top left corner. See photos VG+
