John Coltrane - Lot of 4 "Impulse" & "Prestige" LP's


Due to the current situation there may well be interruptions to postal/ courier deliveries & services. However, parcels are still getting through. We must all be patient and courteous in these difficult times. We will get through this.

This is a lot of 4 LP's. These are all 1980's pressings. They replicate the original 1960's LP releases. This is a great way to acquire these LP's at a reasonable price. The original pressings of these albums now go for a considerable amount. I have listed & graded them individually below:


1. A Love Supreme (MCA/ Impulse MCL 1648 LP 1965)

Early 1990's UK LP pressing. The sleeve is printed on shiny matt card. It comes with its original generic company paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: It has its original record shop price sticker on the front. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the top & bottom edges. There is some light or very mior ringwear. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. VG++ condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. There is some light or very minor ringwear. There is some small writing on one side. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. A very nice audio copy.


2. Lush Life (Prestige PR 7188 LP 1961)

Late 1980's LP pressing. Manufactured in West Germany specifically for the UK market. The sleeve is printed on shiny matt card. It comes with its original polythene-lined company plain paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: It has its original record shop price sticker on the front. This is quite small. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some minor ringwear. VG++ condition

Vinyl: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Very NEAR EX condition. The labels are in Exellent+ & show minimal spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & creasing. Play is Excellent to Excellent+. A great audio copy.


3. Ballads (Jasmine/ Impulse JAS 37 LP 1963)

Early 1980's UK LP pressing. The sleeve is printed on shiny matt card. It comes with its original generic company plain  paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: There are a couple of small areas of mild rubbing wear to the top edge.  There is some minor ringwear. Very NEAR EX condition

Vinyl: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light.  There are a couple of light, but quite long, surface rub marks on one side. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Very Near Excellent condition. There is some light or very minor ringwear. Play is Excellent to Excellent+. A great audio copy. 


4. More Lasting Than Bronze (Prestige PRI 24014 Double LP 1975)

Original Italian double LP pressing. The gatefold sleeve is printed on matt card. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeves. These recordings are from 1957-1958.

Gatefold Sleeve: It has its original record shop price sticker on the rear. It has a manufacturer's "Jazz E' Bello" sticker on the rear sleeve.  There are a couple of small areas of mild rubbing wear on the bottom edge. There is some mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG++ condition

Vinyl 1: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. EX condition. There is a very small circular sticker on one label. Otherwise, the labels are in Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is some light or very minor ringwear. Play is Near Excellent to Excellent overall. A very nice audio copy.

Vinyl 2: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 3 very small pressing marks. NEAR EX condition. There is a very small circular sticker on one label. Otherwise, the labels are in Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. There is some very minor ringwear. Play is Near Excellent to Excellent overall. A very nice audio copy.
