Description
RARE copy (Numbered 695 of 3,000 made) of Rhino's "The Heavyweight Champion: John Coltrane-The Complete Atlantic Recordings." Comes with a 36-page full color booklet of recording information, essays and photos, plus 12 slabs of vinyl, including these albums: GIANT STEPS, COLTRANE JAZZ, MY FAVORITE THINGS, BAGS & TRANE, OLE COLTRANE, COLTRANE PLAYS THE BLUES, COLTRANE'S SOUNDS, THE AVANT GARDE, THE COLTRANE LEGACY, ALTERNATE TAKES AND OUTTAKES (DOUBLE ALBUM). The records and their covers are mostly EXC condition (with a couple VG, but nothing less). The box itself has a few bumps and bruises, but that's only from holding the weight of 12 records. It is a solid, solid box and holds them all snug and tight. The whole package weighs 8 lbs., so UPS shipping will be determined after the auction. I'm guessing it will be $20.
