Description

An original and rare UK pressing of John & Yoko's 1969 'Wedding Album' box-set on Apple Records UK - Sapcor 11. Complete copy with laminated gatefold cover (which has two small seam splits to corners), "The Press" booklet, "The Wedding" poster, poster of John & Yoko's drawings, "Bagism" vinyl bag which includes wedding cake photo (has some wavy foxing to both sides), postcard and photo strip. Also includes copy of marriage certificate glued to the inside of the box lid, which is UK-made. Many UK copies were issued with the US-made boxes, but this particular copy includes a UK box, which omits the US catalogue number on the spine. The vinyl is in EXC condition, lovely copy. Overall the box and contents are VG+ with two right corners of the box split. 1/2" seam splits in cover at top and bottom of spine and light stains on cake photo and vinyl bag. Overall though, a true historical beauty.
