For Sale: JOE TEX 45rpm single, promotional "DEE JAY SPECIAL," "Complimentary" KING 4980, Pneumonia / Get Way Back. I have only seen the regular blue label KING issue in all my searches, this is a white label "not for sale" promotional copy in amazing shape for a 1956 release. I only notice one slight surface blemish on the Get Way Back side and a couple spots on the label (probably there before printing). Label includes a short biography of Joe Tex on both sides. I scanned the disc so you could read the bio and label details, the spots in the scan are from my scanner bed, this disc is CLEAN! I'm not a dealer or store, just recently came across some 45's in a local store they purchased from a collection and this one looked interesting. Going up for auction with a low starting bid. When I see what some of his regular issues go for, this could be a bargain that needs to go to a true collector! Good luck, and thanks for looking.
