Description
Joe Meek Holy Grail!
Original 1960 I hear a new world EP - "an outer space music fantasy", recorded with The Blue Men, directed by Rod Freeman, in stereo on Triumph Super Fi Sound.
Listed as Part 1, this EP was originally planned as part of a two-part series and an LP, but Part 2 was never released. Financial issues at the label meant the LP material wasn't released until 1991 on RPM Records.
The flipback sleeve has damage - an 8cm tear from the bottom of the front cover, a 6cm bottom edge seam split, and 6cm of the bottom edge flipback missing on the back, and the inevitable peeling laminate. I'd grade it Good to Good+ at best.
The vinyl has some hairlines and one notable mark (which delivers a tic or two) but it plays through fine with a little surface noise and grades VG to VG+.
The orange and white Triumph labels are excellent, and the vinyl is housed in a shaped plastic inner bag in decent order.
So not a perfect copy, but finding any original these days is a minor miracle!
Sensible offers welcome.
