Kenny Dorham ' Our thing ' BLUE NOTE BLP 4152 (USA) mono NY label with the deep groove on both sides - on bottom back cover has the address '43W 61st. NY 23 - rec. on September 9, 1963 - original 1964 first issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has stamped 'Van Gelder' and has the 'ear'Side 1 : Tetter Totter (J.Henderson) - Pedro's time (K.Dorham) Side 2 : Our thing (J.Henderson) - Back road (K.Dorham) - Escapade (K.Dorham)
Visual grading : record is VG much lustre has some light unfeelable surface marks and few other light scratches, one of them, on side 1 track 2 (cm.2 or 1"), is slightly feelable. Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG- (side1) and VG+ (side 2) it plays well with loud and clear sound. Unfortunately the first 2 minutes of track 2 side 1 have some crackling and light repeated ticks, mostly of them below music's level. Side 2 plays loud and clear with few light occasional ticks. Record is still fully enjoyable Cover grading : cover is to VG- has light wear to corners, edges and to spine which has titles still readable. Front has on top left corner a tear due to a sticker's removal and has light ringwear. On back cover has light rubbing and has a sticker on top right side
