          A Liberty Records contract pressing using stampers from East Coast pressing plant All Disc Records, Inc

Hallmarks of pressing:

- "Blue Note Records • A Division of Liberty Records, Inc." on labels
- "VAN GELDER" stamped in runouts - the remainder is hand etched
- Serrated edge to vinyl (consistent set of small bumps along the outer edge of the record), a pressing trademark off Keel Mfg. Corp.
- Metal from  All Disc Records, Inc. used in the pressing as indicated by "114" etches in runouts
- Sans serif "1" in "Side I" on A-side label that looks like an "I", and "Side" has a capitalized "S" - not all caps (not "SIDE")
- Address on lower back cover reads "43 West 61st St., New York, N.Y. 10023"
- First catalog number on front cover, second on back cover and third on labels

Vinyl Grade: VG-

Has wear but certain parts of both sides look better. Has a slight lip warp that doesn’t affect play. Plays well, but crackle and some pops can be heard. Caught a couple feelable scratches, such as the one that starts at the end of S1T1 and some on T2 that cause pops.

Cover Grade: VG/VG-

Generally presents VG+ I’d say, but has some issues. Mainly the tape on both right corners and tape on the bottom center seam. Has corner wear, spine wear, and some cover wear

*All records will include a new inner sleeve and plastic outer sleeve

GRADING SCALE: 

SEALED / MINT - Record jacket is sealed. Disc is sold ?as-is.?

NM - Super clean record with basically no imperfections. Appears unplayed or barely played at all. I’d use this rating infrequently

EX - Basically either spotless visually or sounds extremely clean. 

VG++ - Has extremely few light marks. Very clean

VG+ - Has some imperfections, such as hairlines or scuff, but looks clean and should play well

VG - Similar to VG+ but has more imperfections. Records VG and up will not typically have any scratches deep enough to be felt. 

VG- - Fair amount of imperfections or scratches that may affect playability. 

VG-- - Plethora of scratches scattered throughout. Literally scratches/hairlines everywhere.

G - Imperfections and scratches throughout including scratches that cause playback issues and can be felt. 

*These records are visually graded but I do at times give a quick listen to the record so that I can give you an idea of the item you are receiving. If I mention the sound quality of the record, just know I DID NOT listen to the whole record, I only listened to small parts of it. If I listened to the whole record, I will say so in the description.

**I dont grade records considering the spindle marks. I might not even mention it but if it catches my eye I will mention so. If that is an issue for you, ask ahead of time.
