Joe Henderson "Our Thing" on Blue Note 4152, an original mono pressing.
Van Gelder and "ear" are stamped in the dead wax.
Record has one 1/4" scratch on Side 1 leading into the dead wax that you can lightly feel. Otherwise great. Sleeve has wear along the slit. Jacket has a bit of wear along the edges. The last three photos are of the Plasty symbol, the Van Gelder stamp and the 1/4" light scratch. Ignore any other marks on the record that appears in the photo - they are reflections of my ceiling light.
This was provided to us by the estate of Dr. Reginald Wilson - a Tuskegee Airman. Dr. Wilson was a psychologist, civil rights activist, educator, and the founding director of the Office of Minority Concerns and senior scholar emeritus at the American Council on Education.
Dr. Wilson had a strong interest in Black Studies, and was closely acquainted with many of the most prominent Black literary figures of the 20th century.
