I have rated the vinyl condition as VG+ but that's based on how it sounds. That is to say, it doesn't look very good visually, with marks and dimples etc. typical of Joe Gibbs pressings from the 70's - but - and how they do it I don't know - it sounds fantastic, with only minimal surface noise apparent in a couple of places. This record is from when dub was new, and engineer Errol Thompson has a whole battery of sounds at his disposal - bird song, whistles, running water(!) to name but three - which he uses to glorious effect. The rhythms are rock hard and the whole thing is a superb sonic experience from beginning to end. They don't make stuff like this now, and it's fair to say, there wasn't much like it even then in 1978 when it was first released.This is Dub from the roots.
I've owned it from new and it's been well cared for.
Supplied in a new, archive quality inner-sleeve.
