Description
Released by Joe in 1969, cat # DU28; this is “Battle Cry Of Biafra” / “Funky Reggae Pt 1” by Joe’s All Stars.
These reggae singles have come from the lifetime collection of a DJ/reviewer and have not seen the light of day since shortly after their release date. Many of these records have been played only once or twice and not many made it to his radio show or his DJ nights. Some of them have not been stored very well so do have superficial marks on the vinyl, which I will describe as appropriate. I have found that there is a bit or crackle in the dead wax run in for some of the singles, but after that you’ll be hard pressed to find any audible faults. If you are in any way concerned about the playing ability of any record I grade as visually very good, please get in touch and I’ll play the record for you and let you know. Remember that there maybe odd marks, but none of them are caused by playing, just storage, unless clearly noted. Finally, virtually all of these singles come in plain white covers unless noted in the description.
The record is visually graded as very good plus on both sides due to a few light scuff marks. The record has a few spindle marks on the B-side label and I would say the scuffs on the vinyl are not caused by bad treatment as they are far too superficial. Having played the record through, the sonic grading is excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.40 Europe and £1.80 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.20 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required for South East Asia (Singapore, Taiwan, Japan etc) regardless of the cost of the item. Other destinations will be expected to take up insurance if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
