Joe Cocker, 'Mad Dogs & Englishmen'.Original UK A&M tan label stereo 1968 1st press double LP.
The first pressing with the foldout poster sleeve, the LP was released during the bands US Tour when it was also recorded and included members of Delaney & Bonney, as well as Rita Coolidge and Leon Russell. The MacNeill Press matt poster gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing/creasing on the outer cover. The
spine is intact and still partly readable, the inner poster is in EX condition. The plain inners are intact & in VG+ condition. The records are in visually EX condition, sides 1 & 2 have a couple faint hairlines on each side and sides 3 & 4 have a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines & two or three light needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on sides 1 & 2 and a couple more spindle markings on sides 3 & 4. The sound reproduction is EX, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves & briefly in a couple of the quieter spoken passages, overall it is a really great listen. The matrix nos. are; AMLS-6002, A-1 mother stamper 1-BN, B-1 mother stamper 1-BP, C-1 mother stamper 1-BR, D-1 mother stamper 1-BT. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!
UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's up to 2KG!
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 4 or 5 lp's due to weight restrictions.
