This is a true promotional-only pressing of Joan Jett’s debut solo album Bad Reputation, issued in 1981. These copies were not sold to the public and include:
- Gold CBS “FOR PROMOTION ONLY” stamp on jacket front
- Mastered at Allen Zentz, L.A., Calif – stamped on both labels
- Authentic Boardwalk Entertainment Co. clear inner sleeve (with full company info)
- Etched matrix numbers with scratched-out AL/BL prefix — indicative of a corrected mastering run
