Jimmy Smith “Groovin’ At Smalls 2” RARE ORIG BLUE NOTE MONO DG RVG LP IN SHRINK!

Condition:  Vinyl - VG++ / M-- Cover - VG++ (STILL IN SHRINK!)
Description:  very rare original Blue Note mono deep groove LP from the great Jimmy Smith, recorded live at Smalls’ Paradise in Harlem, NYC.  Complete with RVG stampers in the dead wax, 43 W. 61st St on the rear of jacket, Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA on the labels - all the correct indicators.  This is 2nd pressing from btwn 1958-1962. This is a BEAUTIFUL copy.  The vinyl is a CONSERVATIVE VG++ strictly due to one completely superficial totally inaudible small harline scuff on track 1 of side 1, otherwise it would have been given a M/M- grading.  The vinyl is more or less flawless outside of that one mark - it plays and sounds MINT.  The cover is amazingly still in its original shrink wrap which is fully intact with no rips or tears.  The corners are sharp and all the colors run bright - it’s in phenomenal condition.  It’s being given a VG++ grade strictly due to a little bit of browning on the left side of the rear cover as well as the bottom right corner of the rear as can be seen in the pictures - otherwise the jacket would be given an M-/M-- grading. Comes with the original “27 Years Of Blue Note” inner sleeve as pictured.  This is an insanely gorgeous copy!

I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light.  A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect.  vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint.  a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape.  pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.  
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent.  cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok.  cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.  
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough.  cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade

All my records are packed tight and securely in custom LP mailers between two 12" cardboard pieces with the vinyl removed from the covers to preserve their condition during shipping.
