Description

This is a promotional pressing of JImmy Smith at the organ on Blue Note BLP 1525. This is a mono pressing with the 767 Lexington Ave. NYC on the label and the back jacket cover. Etched in the dead wax is RVG, EAR, 9M with BN - LP 1525 A and BN - LP 1525 B. There is no “R” and it is a deep groove and flat edge.


Vinyl: NEAR MINT. Under light, few very faint hairlines are barely visible.

Label: NEAR MINT. Side one has “ For promotion “ stamped on the label (see photo). Both labels are clean with no trace of any spindle marks.

Jacket: VG+( I would have graded it higher if not for the clear tape. There are no seam splits, circle wear or holes. There is little edge and corner wear. The laminated front has a nice clean and glossy surface. The back is nice and clean.
