JIMMY PAGE - She Just Satisfies/Keep Moving - TF-533 - Mint Condition

Well, what can we say, who would have thought over 40 years later, Jimmy Page would still be performing.

Here we have in this auction the very rare Fontana re-issue from 1980 as which came as part of the limited edition Fontana Singles Box Set Volume 1.

The single comes in mint condition, and also contains the Fontana information card, which has the following short biography text written written on it, and I quote :-

"His lead guitar work was proficient enough at 15 to join Neil Christian’s Crusaders, with which he stayed for 3 years until 1962, later signing up with Carter Lewis and the Southerners before joining Mickie Finn and the Blue Men early in 1964.

Between 1963 and 1966, Page played session guitar for countless artists and groups including – Lulu, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, Mickie Most, Brenda Lee, PJ Proby, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, Billy Fury, Tom Jones, Donovan, Chrispin St Peters, The Pretty Things, Them, Dave Berry, The Who, The Kinks, Chris Farlowe, Joe Cocker, David Bowie’s Mannish Boys, and John Mayall.

In 1966, he joined the Yardbirds, forming Led Zeppelin out of their ashes late in 1968.

Page’s solo single for Fontana in March 1965, ‘She Just Satisfies’ is the same tune as The Kinks ‘Revenge’, which Page co-wrote, with added lyrics.

The above text is on thick card, and measures approx 7" x 7".

This single is in mint unplayed condition, and comes in a thick card Fontana company sleeve.

Although not as old as the original, finding this 1980 reissue in this condition, now some 27 years old itself, complete with the information card, is getting harder and harder and find.

It is the next best thing to the original, which you would be lucky to find nowadays at a sensible price.
