GRADING: I have graded this copy to best of my ability using the Goldmine Grading Guide and my experience as a collector. I am not a professional record appraiser, so use your best judgement regarding the photos and the following details...
Cover: EX

  • The cover is nearly flawless with only very minimal shelf wear.
Vinyl: EX
  • The vinyl has been played only a couple of times, and only has a few very small scuffs from the inner sleeve.

Important Update 6/21/2012: The title and written description for this LP lists it as an "Original US Pressing" and released "pre-9/11." However, after doing more research on this particular pressing, I have found that it is not the very first pressing of this album. The very first pressing was Grand Royal Records catalog #548148-0099-1 with a gatefold cover released in 2001. The pressing I have listed here is Western Tread Recordings catalog #24101-83172 (or WT002) with a single non-gatefold cover released in 2003.

The band had dropped the "Bleed American" album title shortly after 9/11 for fear that it could be misinterpreted, and it was printed as the self-titled "Jimmy Eat World" until 2003, when the band's singer Jim Adkins founded Western Tread Recordings and re-issued "Bleed American" with the original cover photo and album title restored--which is the pressing I have listed here.
This particular pressing is still very much out of print and highly sought after, since "Bleed American" was not printed on vinyl again until last year (the 10th anniversary limited edition numbered pressing on triple colored vinyl released on Record Day). But please be advised that it is the 2003 non-gatefold reissue pressing. Please accept my apology for the error in this listing.
