Hi and welcome to another one of my auctions, In the next week i will be listing around 10-15 RARE LP`s, These will all be listed for 10 days and starting at £3 with NO RESERVE, I have been a member for around 10 years now and pride my self on my feedback, I have not had an unhappy customer yet with over 1000+ items being bought and sold.
I won`t be giving you a 500 word essay on how amazing!!!! or Stunning!!! an item is , What i will do is give an accurate and correct grading with at least 6-8 pictures showing the item from all angles to give you a clear image on how the items quality is and do my best to give the best description of condition that i can, I offer a refund for any item that does not live up to the description i have given, My feedback is very important and i have not had a neutral or negative comment in 10 years since i started out, So please bid with confidence for the rare items that i will be selling this week.
The items i will be listing are from artists such as, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Pretty things, Floyd, Duncan Browne, Fairfield Parlour + more. Items that i will be offering are the rarer items by the above and in a very nice collectable condition as they come from my private collection and have not been offered for sale by me before, I will only be offering genuine 1st pressings many with the rarer mixes in stereo, If there are any questions please contact me prior to bidding, Many Thanks.
I always grade my records to the highest possible standards with either a (+) or (-) for added accuracy, All my records are graded according to the UK RRPG, Customer serivce is always a priority so if for any reason there is a problem with an item i have sold please contact me and any issue it will be dealt with in a swift proffesional manner.
Item for Auction
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland 2 LP(UK Track 613 008/9). This is the MEGE Rare WITHDRAWN `Blue Text` E.J.Day Sleeve version with the earliest corrected A1/B1/A1/B1 matrix numbers, Black Track Lables with inverted catalouge numbers above the original catalouge number. The rarest UK version of this LP you can get, Unless you can get hold of a mono copy, Which i believe is a myth in a stock copy. Matrix numbers Side 1 = 613 008 A//1 Side 2 = 613 008 B//1 Side 3 = 613 009 A//1 Side 4 = 613 009 B//1
Outer Sleeve Condition
The original fully laminated gatefold E.J.Day sleeve is in great condition with NO seam splits, NO Rips, NO Writing, No Tears or Stickers etc... This is the MEGA RARE 1st issue sleeve that was withdrawn due to the size of the photo`s on the inner cover and infighting within the band between Jimi,Noel and Mitch, The sleeve was actually withdrawn before the LP went on sale in the shops but there were some copy`s that got through to the public but not many and even if you were to purchase this LP on the day of release you were not guaranteed to get this version and if you did you were very lucky indeed, This has been in my collection for the last 15 years and i have only played it once in all that time, Due to putting it on CD from the time i played it. Condition of the sleeve is great with a solid spine and all the laminate intact all be it with a few small creases, The top and bottom of the spine does have a little corner rubbing but nothing too serious, the top edges of the sleeve are great with no issues, The bottom has a little wear to the front which maybe visable in the pics, The front cover has a few indentations like something heavy has been placed on it(I have tried to show the worst of it in the pic of the front) Ebay rules dont allow me to show the full outside gatefold. So taking all this into account i can confirm that the strict and correct grading for the rare sleeve is VERY GOOD+ and this is not overgraded in anyway. Lable Condition
The original Matt black Track lables with inverted catalouge numbers are all free from Writing,Stickers,Tears or any damage at all apart from a few very light spindle marks Graded as follows Side A = EXCELLENT Side B = EXCELLENT Side C = EXCELLENT + Side D = EXCELLENT+ (Only downgraded due to spindle marks) Both of the original square cut poly-lined inner sleeves are in EXCELLENT+ and VERY GOOD+ condition with a couple of creases
Vinyl condition
The original thick 1st press vinyl with square cut edges is in great condition and has a lovely dark, glossy sheen to the surface and has had very little use, There are NO scratches or nasty marks on the vinyl, The LP has been carefully handled over the years, Upon close inspection under bright light i can see on the surface a minimal amount of very very light wispy lines which come from the record being removed from the sleeve, Not many times by the look of it, but they have no impact on the audio quality, Overall visually all the sides grade as follows Side A = EXCELLENT condition(2 or 3 very light marks visable) Side B = EXCELLENT+ condition(Very light use) Side C =EXCELLENT+ condition(Very light use) Side D = EXCELLENT+ condition(Very light use) A fantastic opportunity to get a top class LP in very very nice condition, Ones like this don`t come up for sale that often, Especially with A/1 B/1 Matrix`s and the very rare BLUE TEXT SLEEVE, GENUINE 1st PRESSING.
Audio Condition
I have just played the LP and can confirm that the audio is great, The sound is what you would expect from a quality 60`s 1st pressing, In between the tracks there is virtually no noise, there are NO reccuring pops, NO clicks, NO Sticks/Jumps etc... Side A has a little static on the run in and between the tracks but the sound is still sensational so graded at EXCELLENT Side B Sounds great with virtually no background noise graded at EXCELLENT+ Side C is pretty much the same as side B, EXCELLENT+ Side D is the same grade as side A EXCELLENT This is in no way overgraded and if anything i am erring on the side of caution as not to dissapoint, Overall a super sounding 2LP set from the best guitarist that has ever been, Please give it a good home as this is another one of the LP`s i am very reluctant to sell, All the best for the New Year.
