Jimi Hendrix first press Live at the Los Angeles Forum
This LP has been re-released in many versions since it was released, but this is the first pressing on Rubber Dubber Records. Recorded on April 25, 1970. Both LPs have the rare purple labels with the name of the LP and tracks. The lps are in very fine condition, all four sides between VG+ and mint minus. The cover shows wear, which is visible on the jpegs, and there are a few splits that have been carefully taped, name on back cover in lower right. It's strong and intact, with the inside of the gatefold having two outstanding images (one is a negative) of Jimi. The Bootleg Bible listed this one at $800 back in 1994. Not certain where that stands these days. A copy of this LP, first pressing, with the vinyl in lesser condition went for $321 in March of 2008. This first pressing is considered by many to be the ultimate and most collectible live Hendrix rarity.
