Description
I'm not a professional record dealer but am describing this to the best of my ability.
The music here dates from the 1960s. This set was released in September 1980, ten years after the death of the artist in September 1970.
I bought this set as new from an HMV shop in 1980, the year the set was released. I've only played the vinyl about a handful of times including recently to check that all the records play OK. All of them play well without any scratchy noises, hisses or jumping etc. There are no scratches to the vinyl. All 6 singles or 12 tracks are present as detailed on the back of the box which is photographed. Most of the 12 tracks are 45 RPM but Voodoo Chile/Gloria plays at 33 1/3 RPM.
Since 1980 I've lived in a few places and this set does date from the days when many people smoked indoors. I think this is the reason for the discolouration to the record sleeves and the box. Other than the discolouration such as can be seen in the photographs and one sleeve having a name written on it there is no damage to the sleeves or box, no rips nor tears just a little wear commensurate with age.
