Beautiful numbered vinyl box set documenting Jimi Hendrix’s legendary Band of Gypsys performances at the Fillmore East on New Year’s Eve 1969 and New Year’s Day 1970. This 8LP edition presents the four Fillmore East concerts in original performance sequence, across 43 tracks.
This set was newly mixed and restored, mastered by Bernie Grundman, pressed on 180g vinyl at Quality Record Pressings, and issued with a deluxe lift-off box and booklet featuring rare photos, Billy Cox remembrances, and liner notes by Nelson George.
Includes powerhouse Hendrix performances of Machine Gun, Power of Soul, Who Knows, Izabella, Hear My Train A Comin’, Ezy Ryder, Burning Desire, and more—capturing Hendrix, Buddy Miles, and Billy Cox at a raw, expansive, funk-rock peak.
